Rave Culture is a historical and musical journey that delves into the birth of breakbeat, a sonic revolution that transformed dance music and society.
Eduardo Cubillo is a versatile filmmaker, screenwriter, composer, and producer. His debut film, Cubillo, A History of a State Crime (2013), premiered at the Málaga and Argentina Political Film Festivals. His second feature, Isleños, A Root of America, won multiple international awards and is available on Amazon Prime and Filmin.
He has directed acclaimed short films, including Into The War (Best Director at For The Fallen Film Festival) and La Fianza, a 15-minute one-shot film that won awards at various noir and fantasy film festivals.
His latest documentary, Rave Culture, explores the origins of the UK’s 1990s rave scene and is currently on the festival circuit. He is also developing La Cathédrale, an ambitious fiction feature.
As a freelancer, Cubillo has worked across various roles in the film industry, producing commercials and services for major brands.
