What we collect. Information you give us directly: your name and email address when you join the newsletter, submit a contact form, or register interest in volunteering. Information collected automatically by the website platform (Wix), such as usage analytics and cookies.

Why we use it. To send you festival news and announcements you have asked for, to answer your enquiries, and to organise volunteering. We do not sell your information.

Film submissions. Submissions are handled by FilmFreeway and FestHome under their own privacy policies. We receive the information you provide with your entry and use it to judge, programme and promote the festival.

How long we keep it. Newsletter details until you unsubscribe. Enquiry and volunteer details for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry or role.

Your rights. Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. To exercise any right, email lets.talk@staffordfilmfestival.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
