STAFFORD
FILM FESTIVAL
An independent film festival showing global stories in Staffordshire. In 2026 the festival screens in two places: Stockholm and Stoke-on-Trent.
THE 2026 EDITION
FULL DETAILS →A private screening for distributors and industry professionals. This event is not open to the public. Further Stockholm screenings open to the public are intended.
Provisional and awaiting final confirmation. Stoke-on-Trent is part of Staffordshire, and this screening is a deliberate broadening of the festival across the county. Further UK locations will be announced if secured.
Filmmakers from around the world submit features, shorts, documentaries, animation, scripts and songs. The programme is chosen to bring audiences stories they would not otherwise see.
Filmmakers are encouraged to attend, take questions after screenings and talk with the audience. That conversation is the heart of the festival, not an afterthought.
Films are scored point by point by an international panel of industry professionals, several of whom have worked on features and series that received Oscar, BAFTA and Emmy nominations.
The festival grew up in Stafford and now reaches across the county, building connections between the public, filmmakers and creatives in Staffordshire.
