The 2026 winners and honourable mentions are announced

The results of the 2026 Stafford Film Festival are announced. Eighteen winners and twenty honourable mentions were chosen from the official selection by our international jury, using point based scoring across every category.

Invincible, directed by Emma Croft, takes Best Feature Film. Largo, by Rachid Sabitri and Charles Meunier, takes Best Short Film. I Am Gitxsan, by Hossein Martin Fazeli, takes Best Feature Documentary, and Safety Net, by Alfie Beard, takes the Staffordshire Filmmaker award.

The remaining awards went to Murder For Dummies (Episode 01: Victim) by J.W. Roberts, Just A Wish Away by Stephen Peers, An Alternate Pond by C Thomas Lewis, The Land We Fight For by Dimitri Nasennik, Finnick by Denis Chernov, Hell by Parker Croft, The Big Bad Wolf by Leo William Wright, Gentle by Alex Naghavi, Marionette by Nathan Levine-Heaney, HOW DO YOU KNOW? by Marty Dodson and Debra Gussin, Grown Up by Louis Leivers, Push The Machine by Max Ward, VIGILANTE (2026) by Luke Hanlon and Lab Partners by Tommy Britt.
