SYNOPSIS

This female directed and produced comedy feature follows Mags. She is at a crossroads in her life. When her best friend Julie convinces her to get out of town. They hit disaster after disaster and along the way find what real friendship means.

ABOUT THE FILMMAKER
Ryann Liebl

Ryann Liebl is an award-winning director who shot her first feature film in 2019. She was able to finish it and release it during the pandemic(late 2020)despite the barriers of no film festivals, closed down cinemas and no live events.

Her short films, music videos and commercials have won numerous awards and been screened in over 20 film festivals.

Her first feature under her own production company REL Films is a comedy about two best friends who go on a road trip gone wrong and find out what friendship means along the way. It’s an endearing film in the vein of “Bridesmaids” and “Planes, Tranes and Automobiles”

With Ryann’s deep Midwest roots. She finds humor in the most unlikely places and works hard to bring intentional imagery and beauty to all of her projects.

Grounded in a hard work ethic and focus. Ryann has 3 other feature films slated for 2022-2024. A Riveting Thriller called “Stand and Fight” about an ex military women living in isolation the Ozarks, A ridiculous comedy called “Is This My Life?” shooting in the UK/Scotland and a sprawling Western set in the 1800’s with a strong female lead called “Coras War”.
