Baraba-pe Peikert, Swiss filmmaker and visual artist, had a fondness for the fictional world from an early age and decorated her room with mobile figures. “1000 O” and 'The Cormorant's Shadow' are the new eccentric experimental films that document Baraba-pe's artistic research into abstract fictitious behavior in the world of movement, cinematic light and action. The next episodes are already in production and so far self-financed by her single company Atelier a./f. in Switzerland and also, as with the previous experimental films WavesWaterWall (2023), Snowhsine (2021), Periplaneta (2020), AF_SO_MONT_NB (2019), short animation MI DI WORM no.10... in constant search of an interested audience. She started producing experimental films at French universities with master degrees in visual arts and aesthetics in Paris 1+8, at the Sapienza in Rome Lighting Design and specialized at the CRM Research Center for Music and Sound Technology in Italy.
She has been honored with screenings in real gems such as the legendary Chinese Theatres in Los Angeles (USA), in experimental cinemas, museums and music halls, in castles, lecture halls and cinemas in universities and institutions, including art and open space screenings around the world as well as online screenings at festivals.
